Trading Spaces host Paige Davis will be returning to host the reboot of the show, due to premiere in 2018, TLC has announced.
Davis hosted the show from 2001-2005 before TLC decided to try a host-less format (amid discredited rumors that she had made a sex tape and possible concerns about a recent weight gain) and fired her. Ratings subsequently fell and they brought Davis back briefly in 2008 before the series was canceled.
"I will be hosting Trading Spaces again, I'm back at TLC, back home and back where I belong," Davis said in a video announcement.
OK, but will crazy-ass designer Hildi Santo-Tomas be returning to gift participants with giant murals of her own face, fill their rooms with dirt, and glue hay and tacky plastic flowers to walls?
