Nicole Kidman on Big Little Lies: "It penetrated my psyche in a way a film never had"

-Nicole thinks they should do a season two because they haven't explored Bonnie's motivations at all and she's a complicated character
-She had bruises from filming the violent scenes
-She talks about Max and Amabella and how Celeste deals with her child with love and not punishment
-She says she was so stressed from doing the violent scenes she once threw a rock through a glass door and kept crying and crying
-She says people told her they were obsessed with the show
-She and Alex would do their scenes together and then never talk about them again
-The next movie she's doing will be called The Killing of a Sacred Deer
-Quote from the interview: " I’m so schizophrenic in my tastes. People are like, “Oh my god, who are you?” The truth of it is I love auteurs and I love philosophical filmmakers and that’s why I love that Big Little Lies got made, because as much as it seems like a sure thing now, it wasn’t. I like the high-wire act of it. I believe in not towing the line. Conformity is what I run from."
