Cosby asks court to omit his quaalude confession from upcoming rape trial

· Bill Cosby's legal team has requested that judge Steven T O'Neill exclude his 2005 deposition in which Cosby admitted to buying quaaludes and intended to give them to women he wanted to have sex with. His team says the admission is a distraction in the case, which focuses exclusively on Andrea Constand, who alleges Cosby raped her in 2004
· His lawyers argue that having sex while on quaaludes was a cultural element of the 1970s and that the admission is not relevant to Constand's allegations
· Only one other victim will testify against Cosby, instead of the 13 that prosecution had lined up
· According to the AP, Cosby says he gave Constand 3 half-pills of Benadryl
