The Man Behind "The Fly" and "Gremlins" Is Going Solo-ish

Famed and award winner Chris Walas has just posted a fundraising campaign for a new film he's working on with his daughter. This is based on using old school effects (created in real life and filmed), rather than the typical computer effects (CGI), which sets his work apart.  Walas is most known for his creature designs and creations for all of the Gremlins films and he won major awards for The Fly.  He has also worked on Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and other beloved films in the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s.
